PREPARING FOR PASSOVER AND UNLEAVENED BREAD CELEBRATION

1. LET US CELEBRATE PASSOVER AND THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. This is our New Year as Believers of Jesus the Messiah as commanded by God in Exodus 12:1-2. This means it is an appointment time God set for all His people to meet Him as a congregation and as a household. Our Passover date is April 21, 2024 during our regular Sunday service at 2:30 pm we all assemble to meet Him at our church in CCCLA 12429, 195th street Cerritos City, Ca. “It is the Lord’s Passover. So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses.“ (Exodus 12: 14-15)
2. SOLEMN ASSEMBLY MEANS ONCE A YEAR HOLY AND REFLECTIVE GATHERING WHERE GOD OPENS HEAVEN AND GRANTS THE FAITHFUL THE BLESSINGS OF A NEW BEGINNING!
A FRESH START IN LIFE! OR A RESET WHERE HE OUTPOURS THE POWER OF HIS BODY, BLOOD AND THE SPIRIT TO EMPOWER AND GUIDE US THROUGHOUT THE COMING MONTHS UNTIL THE NEXT FEAST OR PASSOVER!
3. THE CELEBRATION IS CENTERED ON THE BODY AND BLOOD OF THE LAMB! During the day of Passover and the week of unleavened bread we are to reflect on the the priceless value of Jesus life, ministry and work on the cross and resurrection by confessing with faith and acting on the revealed applications of the body and blood of Jesus personally and as a family. A time of prayer and supplication to every area of our lives; in government, in the home, church, cities, nation and the world! 4. NO LEAVEN IN THE HOUSE FOR 8 DAYS EATING ONLY UNLEAVENED BREAD. IT IS SYMBOLIC OF REMOVING EVERY CONFESSION AND ACT OF UNBELIEF AND UNCLEANNESS WHETHER WE ARE CONSCIOUS OR UNCONSCIOUS OF IT. ALSO, WRONG OR BAD ATTITUDE, AND BEHAVIOR BEFORE GOD OR OTHERS…NEAREST OR EVEN TO YOUR FARTHEST NEIGHBOR.
5. DEVOTIONAL GUIDE: REFLECT ON THE DIFFERENT VERBAL EXPRESSIONS AND CONDUCT OF BEHAVIOR OR ATTITUDE THAT IS LEAVEN OR UNCLEAN WRITE ON THE OPPOSITE THE ANTONYM OR OPPOSITE OF IT (READ MARK 7:18-2 22).

6. SINCE AFTER PASSOVER , THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED IS CELEBRATED FOR 7 DAYS:
a. Remove leaven in your house.
b. Do not eat bread with leaven for 8 days including Passover.
